Understanding DiSC Profiles
There are several DiSC Profiles available. These include the DiSC Classic profiles which provide the four separate DiSC styles in the traditional line-graph way and the Everything DiSC Profiles which map the DiSC styles in a circle.
There are four DiSC Classic Profiles to choose from: the DiSC Classic paper profile, online DiSC Classic 2.0, DiSC Classic 2 Plus and PPSS General Characteristics. Participants respond to 28 forced-choice boxes that contain four words each. In each box they are asked to choose one word that is most like them and one that is least like them. The report provides separate scores on four scales: D, i, S, and C. The interpretation of this graph within the profile is based on a Classical Pattern, which describes a person’s overall DiSC pattern as influenced by all four styles. It is based upon the scores for each dimension. The DiSC Classic assessment uses Classical Patterns to capture the integrated, interactive nature of the four styles.

From each of these, you should be able to get good sample reports online to teach you the exact contents in terms of the various profiles.
The Everything DiSC suite of application-specific products is based on the third generation of the research-validated DiSC Assessment. The Everything DiSC personality assessment uses adaptive testing which is an interactive assessment process that tailors questions to the individual respondent; people who respond inconsistently to any given set of items will be asked to respond to more items. This technology provides more precision about a participant’s true DiSC style and superior user experience. Each profile includes in-depth information, tips, strategies, actions plans and several follow-up reports to help learners become more effective.
