Even if, for whatever reason, you struggle to be passionate about the company, try to find the passion for the benefits it offers.  This could be anything that matters to you, such as the money or the status or simply the fact that you can show others that you have succeeded.  You cannot expect others to believe in your company, be that your employees, your customers or your partners, if you don’t believe in it yourself.

Leadership and Management

Wherever we look, we hear about companies that have too many managers.  They have meetings just to have meetings, and there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians.  However, this doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be any leadership and management, but rather that you get your management right.

Accept Change

The world is not stagnant and you can only keep up if you are ready to change with it.  This is hard, because it is in our very nature to resist change.  We think something works, or is at least comfortable, and we refuse to try out other things, because that is risky and simply doesn’t feel right.  However, unless you are adaptable and ready to change, your business will become stagnant.
